Easy Feed Tips
Cardboard, newspaper, or shreded paper (keep it moist) they love it!
Horse or cow manure (This is the Best).
Grass clippings, and leaves.
Kitchen waste, Let's talk about this.
Mother Nature will thank you for this, there are a few simple rules to follow.
No meats, no onions, no bread or dairy, go easy on the citrus it's to acidic.
Red worms will eat all of your Bio-degradable waste.
Following these valuable rules will keep your worms happy, which means breading and eating. Thus landing you valuable castings.
To feed all kitchen waste, you will need a pH Tester, (which we sell for your convinence).
Optimal pH for the worms is close to a pH of 7, which is base. To mantain this you may need a bag of common garden lime, don't worry it's cheap at your local garden center, you won't need much.

Currently we are working on a very in depth page for the maintenance and care of the Tennessee Red Worms that will help you boost the productivity of your worm operation.
